This is how I do it, using my VitaMix every Sunday Afternoon
Step 1 Open a 13.66 fl. oz Can of Coconut milk (I use Thai kitchen Organic unsweetened I get from Costco) Note: I use a spatula to clean out as much milk as possible into the VitaMix.
Step 2 Pour in 2 cups of whole grains. Does not matter how much of what. Note: I use 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of Millet because it is the most alkaline. 1/3 cup Buckwheat also alkaline. I like Barley for Potassium, Kamut an ancient grain , Spelt also helps make it naturally sweet and is an ancient grain found in the Bible. Amaranth for its Lysine content (about 1 to 2 tsp). Oat groats, better for you than oat flakes. Rye for those that are NOT gluten intolerant. I don’t use Rice or Quinoa.
Step 3 Add 4 organic eggs, but this is optional if someone has allergies. Note: I add this before step 4 to help the blend process.
Step 4 Blend on high for about 1 minute, until smooth. then I add (optional: about 1 tsp of Cinnamon.)(optional: vanilla extract)
Step 5(Optional: Sweetening) I use at least 1 to 2 Tablespoons of Sulfur free Black Strap Molasses. Can add 1 tablespoon of Honey as well.
Step 6 One cup of Sourdough (optional) then blend again till smooth and mixed.
Step 7 Prepare 1 1/2 tsp. of Baking Soda and 1 1/2 tsp of Rumford Baking Powder (Aluminum Free). Smash together until smooth and lump free.
Step 8 Make sure griddle is getting hot, Start the blender and speed it up till you are getting a whirlpool in the middle. quickly add step 6 in a quick pour into the vortex and shut off the VitaMix. All done. Congrats and enjoy.
